This final Batman is going to have so much Batman.
According to AMC Theaters (via), the closing chapter of Christopher Nolan's superhero trilogy will be the longest, clocking in at a reported 2 hours 45 minutes, which should hopefully give more than enough time to see Batman rise, marry Catwoman, growl tearful farewells to the cast and crew, thanking them for seven glorious years of Batmanning, and flashback to some classic clips and hilarious, never-before-seen outtakes from the early days. Or whatever darker stuff Nolan has planned.
Like they did with Marvel films leading up to The Avengers, select AMC locations will also be showing Batman Begins and The Dark Knight before midnight screenings of The Dark Knight Rises. Further details and online ticketing will be available here next Monday. As a warning, though, that's a long day and night of Batman, so you might want some caffeine. Right, Batman?
