Tom Hanks, Ron Howard Returning To Read Us Another Dan Brown Book

July 16, 2013

Dan Brown's latest Robert Langdon thriller, just released this May, will once again be jumping out of the seatback pocket and onto the screen in the shape of Tom Hanks. The actor, his Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons director Ron Howard, and writer David Koepp have all reportedly agreed to return for Brown's Inferno, which sees Hanks' symbologist finding clues and puzzles hidden this time in the writings of Dante. It's the fourth book in the series, but as Howard was already planning to merely produce The Lost Symbol, the team is planning to skip over the third book. It's easy to see why they're so excited to move on: Inferno is when Langdon is finally revealed to clearly just be a paranoid schizophrenic.
