'Parkland' Trailer: When JFK Was Assassinated, Where Were Zac Efron and Billy Bob Thornton?

Still one of the most shocking, frightening, and conspiracy-plagued moments in modern American history--which is saying a lot considering all the other shocking, frightening, conspiracy-plagued stuff happening on the regular now--the Kennedy assassination lies at the heart of the Tom Hanks-produced writing-directing debut of Peter Landesman, Parkland.

Taking the same path as Emilio Estevez's Bobby, as the Estevez path is always the correct one, the film takes a sideways look at the assassination through the sometimes literal lenses of the many people peripheral to the incident. An FBI agent, a reporter, a doctor asked to somehow save a ruined head, some Secret Service guys, Lee Harvey Oswald's brother, Jackie Kennedy, home-movie icon Abraham Zapruder, maybe a witness dog, and a baby whose thoughts you can hear make up the parts for a cast filled by the likes of Paul Giamatti, Zac Efron, Marcia Gay Harden, Billy Bob Thornton, Ron Livingston, Tom Welling, Jacki Weaver, Mark Duplass, and more.
