This past Friday marked the 50th anniversary of the tragic, zeitgeist-defining assassination of John F. Kennedy. So what better way to reflect on the leader's life and legacy than to teach that he was killed by the awesome magnetic powers of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants' leader? That's the story from a new bit of salesmanship from X-Men: Days of Future Past. In this below video and on its accompanying website, The Bent Bullet, it's contended that Magneto was deemed responsible and secretly arrested for guiding Oswald's second, killing shot on the president. Just the viral marketing stunt JFK always hoped he'd be remembered for.

Raises some interesting questions on whether or not Martin Luther King was actually stomped by the new Godzilla in a YouTube clip.
