Blockbuster Also Shutting Down UK Stores in Move To Stop Existing

Today, exactly a month after closing all of its non-franchise US stores, Blockbuster has announced that there will no longer be, wow, what a difference between their domestic and UK physical presence. Having unsurprisingly failed to find a buyer willing to invest in video stores, the rental chain is reportedly now also closing its 91 remaining locations in the United Kingdom. The stores will be shutting their doors for good on Monday, so plan around that in trying to make Edgar Wright's The World's End the chain's apt final rental. For symmetry.
