For Matt Reeves, it's back to watching Andy Serkis crawl around in a lycra onesie. Though his Dawn of the Planet of the Apes doesn't hit theaters until May, 20th Century Fox has reportedly already hired the director back on to return for yet another sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes. According to Deadline, Reeves--who took over the franchise from Rupert Wyatt--will also co-write the script with Dawn's Mark Bomback, screenwriter of 50 Shades of Grey, Live Free or Die Hard, and The Wolverine. With the film being a priority for the studio, work is expected to begin shortly. Best not to wait when it comes to matters of armed chimps.
