Producers Guild Really Effed Up the Oscar Betting Odds

Historically, when prognosticating Best Picture winners for fun and/or profit, the safest bet is to go with the winner of the Producer Guild's feature award, which has forecasted the big Oscar winner 17 out of 24 times. The only problem with this method: The PGA actually has to select a winner for it to work. And this year, in a first for the organization, they did not. At the awards ceremony Sunday night, they apparently decided that a tie is fine and split their Darryl F. Zanuck Award between Gravity and 12 Years a Slave. So those are your apparent frontrunners this year. As for which will win, as always, that's for the Reptilian New World Order to decide.
