'Ghostbusters III' Undeterred by Death of Egon

February 26, 2014

Sadly, Harold Ramis is dead, but nearly as sadly, Ghostbusters III is still not. THR has confirmed that, despite a severe lack of Egon, Sony's plans for the sequel are still moving forward, undeterred save for a brief mourning period during which they'll write out Ramis's planned passing of the torch to a younger cast. After all, if Bill Murray's adamant disinterest won't stop this thing, why would the death of a key player and principal creative slow things down? Winston's already heard about the Twinkie; he can explain it to the new guys.
