Taking just two years between films for the first time since 1999's Magnolia, Paul Thomas Anderson should have his follow-up to The Master in theaters by the end of the year. Hooray! Inherent Vice, Anderson's Joaquin Phoenix-starring adaptation of the Thomas Pynchon novel of the same name, is reportedly now dated for December 12, 2014, right in prime awards season.

Warner Bros. also put the in-production Entourage movie on their schedule, giving it a release date of June 12, 2015. People will just have to remember that one for awards season.
