Craig Ferguson Calling It Quits on 'The Late Late Show' Too

April 29, 2014

Following suit with everyone else who wears a suit after your local news, Craig Ferguson has announced that he'll be leaving his post at CBS's The Late Late Show after a decade run. No doubt peeved that he just got passed over for pretty much the only promotion available in his position, Ferguson revealed on his show Monday that he'll be stepping down in December. The host claimed he wasn't sure what he'd be doing next, but that's not entirely true: already he's made a deal to start hosting the new series Celebrity Name Game in the fall.

It's a turbulent time of change for TV, but remember, you can always steady yourself on the reliably-rigid presence of Carson Daly, the wooden railing still stubbornly clinging to the edges of the late night ship.
