Well, looks like Ashton Kutcher will, for a while longer, remain our definitive posthumous Steve Jobs. THR is reporting that Sony's plans to make a Jobs film that would re-team director David Fincher with writer Aaron Sorkin have fallen apart due to demands from Fincher. As you may recall, already he said he wouldn't make the film unless Christian Bale would star; now, Fincher is apparently also demanding control of the marketing plus a $10 million payday upfront, which the studio isn't willing to hand out.
Sources say the two sides "potentially could re-enter negotiations," but there's no indication that a replacement director will be sought. Because do you have any idea how much Apple replacement parts cost?
