Freud To Stop Dicking Around and Solve Some Crimes

Sigmund Freud, the David Caruso of psychoanalysis, is getting his own crime procedural. The renowned neurologist is reportedly joining Houdini in having his skills re-written to serve weekly police investigations, with writer-producer Frank Spotnitz and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country writer-director Nicholas Meyer developing the series Freud: The Secret Casebook. According to the official description: "Set in the glittering, but volatile world of early 20th century Vienna, Freud will use his startling new theories about psychology to help solve crimes." Inevitably, it always ends up being tied to the mother.
