JJ Abrams Suggests Further 'Star Wars' Casting, Is Still Making a 'Star Wars' Movie

May 5, 2014

Sunday was Star Wars Day, the day when fans around the world unite in celebrating that "May the fourth be with you" almost works as a pun. Like most of the day's revelers, Episode VII co-writers J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan spent the day choreographing lightsaber fights, but they took a break from that to also record a "video selfie" for the event. It's mostly just the two giving a "hi" to fans, but Abrams does tease that "casting announcements [will] continue," hinting that the the big cast list reveal isn't quite done yet. The role of Admiral Ackbar's son Chip may still be up for grabs, young actors. May the force be with you.
