Aubrey Plaza Is Our Most Sardonic Zombie in the 'Life After Beth' Trailer

Like zombies themselves, the zombie romantic-comedy genre has apparently been given an unlikely extended life. Following in the lumbering footsteps of Warm Bodies, Life After Beth gives us another tale of romance by way of the undead--though with a decidedly more indie comedy slant. Aubrey Plaza plays, you know, an Aubrey Plaza character, but now one who dies and transitions from living deadpan to just living dead. The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Dane DeHaan plays the boyfriend who has to deal with his girlfriend's new cravings, with Anna Kendrick, John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Paul Reiser, Cheryl Hines, and Matthew Gray Gubler co-starring. It's the directing debut of I Heart Huckabees co-writer Jeff Baena. Here's the trailer:
