Like a superhero sequel going crazy with villains, the conclusion of the Coens' "Numbskull Trilogy" is really packing in the series' iconic lantern-jawed dimwits. While the first two chapters--Intolerable Cruelty and O Brother, Where Art Thou?--stuck with just George Clooney, for the upcoming Hail, Caesar!, the Coens are adding in the previously reported Josh Brolin and now Channing Tatum. According to THR, the 22 Jump Street lead is joining the '50s Hollywood-set comedy as "a Gene Kelly-type star." Back to choreographed dancing for you, Step Up.
Likewise joining the film: Grand Budapest Hotel stars Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes. Swinton will play "a powerful Hollywood gossip columnist," while Fiennes will play studio director Laurence Lorenz. So also back to auteur-driven retro comic farce for you two.
