Netflix is doubling down on the outrageously raunch comedy of Chelsea Handler and Martin Sheen. The company has decided to add the anything-goes laughs of the Chelsea Lately and West Wing stars to their streaming lineup, casting each in developing shows. Handler is getting a new talk show on Netflix starting in 2016, and later this year, she'll debut a new comedy special called "Uganda Be Kidding Me." It's a play on "Uganda" for some reason! We'll find out why when she gets to her wild and unfiltered Uganda material.
Sheen, meanwhile, is reportedly joining the 13-episode comedy Grace and Frankie. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are already respectively attached to the title roles; Sheen will play Grace's husband, who launches the show's main conflict when he comes out wanting to marry Frankie's husband. The single-camera comedy joins Amazon's Jeffrey Tambor-starring transgender project, Transparent, in letting Dad know, hey, it's alright. Be who you are. We're here for you.
