Darren Aronofsky and HBO Adapting Some Margaret Atwood

June 5, 2014

Noah director Darren Aronofsky is returning to the world of crazy flooding tales for Margaret Atwood's dystopian, speculative fiction trilogy, which deals with a "waterless flood" that comes in the form of a biological pandemic. According to Deadline, Aronofsky will executive produce MaddAddam, an HBO drama that adapts Atwood's novels--Oryx and Crake, The Year of the Flood, and MaddAddam--into series form. And so another series of well-regarded books gets re-categorized as a collection of HBO spoilers.
