As was noted with the first trailer, Michael Bay may only be proudly celebrated as a producer on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but he's still somehow managed to yet again get his grimy fingerprints all over our action figures--and that goes doubly so in this second trailer. While the first included such telltale Bay-isms as large-scale skyscraper destruction, inscrutable action, and a prominent role for Megan Fox, this one adds in Bay's loves for interlocking sharp metal crap (see our complicated new Shredder above), context-free explosions, and lines clearly left over from a draft of Bad Boys 3. Watch below to say farewell to "cowabunga"; hello to "that's what I'm talkin' about!" and "let's rock 'n' roll!" (fist-bump).
Remember how cool it was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, when Shredder evolved into a massive, hulking Super Shredder? Where does this Shredder go from here. As usual, it seems we can count on Bay to start things at 11 and from there just crank it up to pure noise. That noise assumedly being the buzz of a phalanx of chainsaws attached to the new Super Shredder's wrists.
