Watch the Grand Budapest Hotel Get Built from Lego

June 16, 2014

If you've ever seen a Wes Anderson film and wondered, "Hey, could this somehow be more deliberately constructed," now you have an affirmative thanks to Fox Searchlight. For tomorrow's home video release of The Grand Budapest Hotel, the distributor hired Ryan Ziegelbauer and a team of builders--Grand Budapest star Tony Revolori (young Zero) among them--to assemble the titular building out of Lego. Watch the video below to marvel at the construction, take in its plastic grandeur, and dismay at the lack of a lil' leather jacket-clad Willem Dafoe minifig. That had better at least be in the Lego Movie sequel.
