Belle & Sebastian Aesthetic Comes to Oh-So-Precious Life in 'God Help the Girl' Trailer

If you've ever hoped that the indie pop of Belle & Sebastian would have an equally twee visual component and more of a plot, you're in luck. God Help the Girl has emerged from a charming canvas tote as the directorial debut of B&S frontman Stuart Murdoch, who also wrote the script and songs for what's being aptly called a "pop musical." Sucker Punch's Emily Browning, Game of Thrones Wildling Hannah Murray, and Olly Alexander star as some earnest '60s Glasgow teens putting together just the most darling little pop outfit you've ever seen.
