'Expendables 3' Rated PG-13, Opening Its Doors to Junior High Fans of Aged Action Stars

Stallone and his AARP murderin' squad aren't getting any younger, but apparently they're hoping that their audience will. It's being reported that the MPAA has given The Expendables 3 a PG-13 rating--a first for the franchise, which has traditionally used bloody violence as the HGH to give the flimsy plots some unnatural mass. The latest film seemingly tones that down, as its new rating rationale mentions only "violence including intense sustained gun battles and fight scenes, and for language." It is a momentous day for the adolescent Kelsey Grammer fan.
