The first official poster for Quentin Tarantino's eighth film (eight, get it?) The Hateful Eight debuted in Empire Magazine, confirming that it will actually be a real-life movie and released in 2015. The presumed synopsis as parroted by everybody so far:

The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.

And although there are only six horses here, there are two people on the carriage so, ya know, we're still good on the 'eight' motif. I'm sure the marketing team is also hoping Tarantino can finish the movie by August 8, and I bet there were some heated debates about whether or not to write it out as 'The H8teful Eight' or some variation of that.
