While James Franco is at work on bringing the Tommy Wiseau story to screens, Wiseau himself continues to make sure Franco will have plenty of material for a potential sequel.
Seemingly inspired by the roars of laughter elicited by his horrible magnum opus, The Room, the writer-director-producer-visionary soon after decided that comedy was his calling, leading him to bring his impenetrable sense of humor to a sitcom he called The Neighbors. As its title suggested, it focused on the residents of an apartment complex--Wiseau learning from The Room and this time giving a little more rationale as to why everyone keeps bursting into areas of this one building. Unsurprisingly, especially if you've watched the show's confounding, leaked pilot trailer, it was not picked up.
But, as is probably the can-do spirit of his undetermined country of origin, Wiseau has still not given up on the project. This is not something he's just going to abandon like a breast cancer subplot. So now, a half-a-dozen years since he claimed The Neighbors was "coming soon," he's set up a website for the series (note: page auto-plays Wiseau's signature chicken "cheeps"). There, it's said the sitcom is arriving--in one form or another--"this fall." Wiseau also sheds some light on his full pitch with a "synopsis & plot" section. It sounds, let's say... dense?

Thanks to the AV Club, there's also even more info in the form of a video Wiseau descriptively posted as "THE NEIGHBORS INFO #1." Said info consists of even more incomprehensible dialogue, more arbitrary underwear references, more ball-tossing, and stupider hair than is usual for a Wiseau production. It involves some kind of marijuana-based party celebrating Tommy Wiseau-branded boxer briefs. Like The Room, it really needs to be seen to be still-not-understood:
The wait is already tearing me apart.
