Aquaman Moving Forward on Two Completely Separate Scripts

August 13, 2014

Like dolphins guiding the individual legs of their ridiculous-looking sea king, two separate screenwriters have started work on their own unique takes on an Aquaman movie. THR reports that Warner Bros., in a showing of how clear their vision is, has hired both Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad to independently write different scripts for the loosely-planned superhero film. Beall's sole feature film credit is widely-disliked Gangster Squad, while Johnstad already has experience writing for Zack Snyder and muscley dudes, as he wrote both 300 films. The studio's plan is to take the best script and throw the other one back, as one would a fish that a guy could command as his superpower.
