Michael Bay May Stop Doing 'Transformers' Movies To Tell Other, Possibly Non-Robot Stories

Could the days of Michael Bay shouting at a beautiful woman to tell her where the giant robot is attacking from be over? So it would seem from a recent interview, in which Michael Bay revealed that he may pass the baton of a giant green claw-arm to another Transformers director.

"Bay, 49, believes he will pass the baton for future Transformer movies to a new director while he turns his focus elsewhere," USA Today writes.

They continue:

"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make,' says Bay, who is eyeing a passion project, a documentary on elephant poaching [ed: see here]. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles."

It is worth noting, however, that last time Bay got interested in flexing new muscles, all it meant was that now he'd put Mark Wahlberg and The Rock in things.
