Kevin Costner is back with yet another heartwarming sports movie. The sport this time? RACISM. In Black and White, Dad's favorite actor plays a widower trying to raise his biracial granddaughter after the death of her mother. Octavia Spencer plays the grandmother who wants to get custody back to her side of the family. She claims that Costner is fighting the issue because he doesn't want the girl with "the black people." Costner retorts that "this isn't about black and white." It isn't clear if that's true or if he's just saying that because it's the title. Such is the complex sport of racism.
