Margot Robbie may be the lead in Ghost in the Shell, the planned remake that playfully kicks away the opinion that the animated version is perfectly fine. Both Deadline and The Wrap are reporting that the Wolf of Wall Street actress is in early talks to star in the film, which is being directed by Snow White and the Huntsman's Rupert Sanders. Robbie would play the cybernetically-enhanced leader of a special ops team tasked with hunting down a dangerous hacker. In the original manga and subsequent anime adaptation, that character was named Major Motoko Kusanagi. In Americanizing this stern squad leader and hacking specialist, she'll of course now be named Sandra Bullock.
