'This Means War' Successful in Scaring Tom Hardy from Ever Doing Rom-Coms Again

Though the film opened in fifth place and made less than $55 million domestically, the McG-directed action rom-com This Means War was apparently at least successful in scaring Tom Hardy away from ever doing that kind of shit again.

"I didn't understand how you could do something which is so much fun and be so miserable doing it," Hardy recently told USA Today, speaking of his dismal battle against Chris Pine for the heart of Reese Witherspoon. He explained that he only agreed to do the film "to do things [he] hadn't done before," but Hardy added, "I probably won't do a romantic comedy again." So dies my unfinished screenplay for For Love of the Bane.
