Disney's latest animated pre-movie short involves a cute Boston terrier puppy eating nachos. That description alone should probably be enough to get them a few million YouTube hits, but here's the more official synopsis:
Feast, a new short from first-time director Patrick Osborne (head of animation, Paperman) and Walt Disney Animation Studios, is the story of one man's love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share."
In short, as your veterinarian will tell you, this short is about someone killing their dog. You tell your vet about this short, they're going to go into a whole spiel about how you shouldn't give human foods--especially high calorie and possibly jagged foods like nachos--to your pet. "Your dog is at a high risk for a multitude of serious health risks if you insist on feeding it like the dog seen in Feast," they'll tell you. "That's just a cartoon." But wait until you see how cute it looks in this thing. The puppy eats a pizza! Who is some dog doctor, who probably couldn't get into real medical school, to tell you who you can feed a slice to? Just watch this trailer and feed your dog whatever you want. If the vet says anything about the dog getting fat, just ask them how much they weigh if they're such an expert on keeping slim. Maybe that'll shut them up.
