Key & Peele Making Movie About Kidnapped Cat Named 'Keanu'

October 20, 2014

Though they're already working on a substitute teacher comedy, a horror film, and the Police Academy reboot, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are still finding time for pet abduction--as we all must with our increasingly-busy lifestyles. Deadline reports that the comedy duo are teaming up to this spring shoot Keanu, a film Peele wrote with one of their show's writers, Alex Rubens. Peter Atencio, who directs all of Key & Peele, is said to be in talks to helm the film. The plot involves a friends going undercover to infiltrate a gang and steal back an abducted cat named Keanu. It's a really good name for a cat. Why didn't we think of naming our cat that?
