Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie are headed to television, and it's not for the two-hour premiere of House, Jr.. Sorry it's not that. That would've been good, though, right?

Instead, as the only charmingly distinguished British guys not included in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, the two are finally getting their own shot at adapting the work of John le Carré with a limited series based on The Night Manager. As in le Carré's 1993 novel, the television production will focus on a former British soldier going undercover to take down a powerful black market arms dealer. The BBC is developing the series for air in the UK, but according to THR, several US networks are already looking to partner up to bring it stateside, where perhaps it could still be called House, Jr., just so we don't waste such a good title.
