BAFTA, Olivier Award, and three-time Tony winner Mark Rylance will bring his thespian talents to the multi-dimensional role of a giant who's both big and friendly. He's reportedly been cast in the title role of The BFG, Steven Spielberg's adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic of the same name. As originally illustrated by frequent Dahl collaborator Quentin Blake, the BFG was a massive elderly man with wrinkled skin, sparse hair, and massive ears, but it's not yet clear how much the 54-year-old Rylance's take will so closely resemble a nightmarish colossus built to celebrate Ross Perot's 1992 presidential bid.
