Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart Doing Buddy-Action-Comedy That Only Makes Sense

November 11, 2014

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are teaming up for the buddy-action-comedy you can already imagine being a massive box office hit with a 46% on Rotten Tomatoes. Variety reports that Johnson and Hart will make Central Intelligence the latest film where Hart shouts through an adventure with a larger, tougher guy. The two will play former high school classmates who, in adulthood, have swapped roles: former athlete Hart is now an accountant, while the bullied Johnson is now a CIA contract killer who no one would question if he started calling himself "The Rock." As their class reunion approaches, the two for some reason team up to "foil a plot to sell classified military secrets." We're the Millers' Rawson Marshall Thurber is directing from a script he's done the most recent rewrite on. Now that the cast is set, he'll assumed now take another pass to add a part where Johnson tosses Hart as a projectile, because you figure he's going to want that for the trailer.
