Netflix Also Making 'Lemony Snicket' Series

November 5, 2014

Continuing their aggressive push into original programming that gets kids binge-watching at an early age, Netflix has started work on an adaptation of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. The company has reportedly just acquired the rights to the book series and have teamed with Paramount--who made the 2004 film version on Lemony Snicket--to develop it into a live-action series. Hopefully this will continue the Son of the Mask tradition of anointing Jamie Kennedy successor to Jim Carrey, thought only Jamie Kennedy.
