Wes Anderson May Return to Stop-Motion Animation

Never one to shy away from repeated visual themes, Wes Anderson may soon be returning to Fantastic Mr. Fox's world of stylized animation. Appearing in Portugal to present a screening of Vittorio de Sica's The Gold of Naples, the director reportedly (via) told the crowd that one idea for his next project is to make another stop-motion effort--one that would mirror the anthology structure of The Gold of Naples, dividing the film into largely disconnected episodes. In other words, he finally figured out how to squeeze some more questionable father figures in there.
