Sorry, Joel Edgerton, but it seems you won't get to play every Ancient Egyptian villain.

apocthumb.jpgVarious sources are now reporting that the antagonist role in the next X-Men has gone to Oscar Isaac, the Inside LLewyn Davis star who already made a huge leap into franchises with an upcoming role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Isaac will play the sub-titular Apocalypse, an enormously powerful X-Men villain born 5000 years ago in Egypt. Because some of his god-like powers include a heightened healing factor and immortality, the character yet remains alive in the new film's '80 setting--where, thanks to his ability to shift his size, Apocalypse can and will fit into any and all Members Only jackets.
