No One Wanted To Use George Lucas's 'Star Wars' Ideas

Finally giving the fans what they truly want, George Lucas has assured everyone that all his ideas for new Star Wars stories have been mercifully left out of the new trilogy.

"The [ideas] that I sold to Disney, they came up to the decision that they didn't really want to do those," Lucas explained to CinemaBlend. "So they made up their own. So [The Force Awakens stories are] not the ones that I originally wrote." So, good news for those who fear Lucas's creative talent has faded; bad news if you'd hoped Harrison Ford was returning as an adorable alien with a penchant for hilarious mischief.
