Though Overstock.com's just-announced video plans have rendered all other streaming services redundant and irrelevant, Sony is still for some reason pushing ahead with their plans to bring original content to the PlayStation Network. The company this morning announced a premiere date for Powers, their adaptation of the Brian Michael Bendis/Michael Avon Oeming comic book series about the homicide detectives that handle superhero cases. The series will debut on March 10 with three episodes of the first season arriving for PlayStation Plus members. Non-subscribers who just want to see why Eddie Izzard looks like he's in a Swedish death metal band will be able to watch the first episode here.
