Have you ever thought that a mental institution should be more like a bacchanal buddy comedy? Well, ha ha, you're in luck! Because Jay Roach is going to make that for you. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Dinner for Schmucks director is directing Mad Dogs, a film describe as "an action-comedy update of the 1970s conspiracy genre in a tone that blends The Hangover with One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest." Based on a novel from Six Days of the Condor author James Grady, the script from Wes Jones sees three dysfunctional, low-level intelligence workers trying to break out of a mental ward after being committed for knowing too much about a government plot. In related news, we now need a new title for our Old Dogs/Wild Hogs crossover film.
