Nearly a month to the day since it arrived on-demand--a symbol of defiance against those who would threaten our creative freedom to make buddy comedies with the same actor friends over and over--The Interview is headed to Netflix. Because some of us don't want to pay $5.99 as a symbol of defiance, but maybe we'd defy if it was right there for free and we were kind of high or something. The comedy will reportedly be available on the streaming service starting this Saturday, January 24. It's said the film will also arrive on select IMAX screens the same day, a new symbol of defiance against those evildoers who would say, "I don't need to see Seth Rogen's face that large. Really. The TV at home would be fine."
