The Edge of Tomorrow team of Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman are in talks to let us watch Cruise die all over again. According to Deadline, the two may re-team for Mena, a film that is not the edgy remake of Philomena you're hoping it is. Mena would see Cruise playing Barry Seal, the real-life pilot and drug smuggler who flew covertly for both the CIA and the Medellín Cartel. He operated largely out of an air facility in Mena, Arkansas--hence the title--but later, as part of a plea deal, he was forced to move to a halfway house in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the cartel successfully killed him for being a DEA informant. Whether or not the deal comes together will assumedly depend on if Cruise is willing to respond to the name "Barry."
