The Simpsons and pixel art--those holdovers from the '80s that you can't believe are still somehow being made today--have come together beautifully thanks to Paul Robertson, Ivan Dixon, and Jeremy Dower. The respective artists and musician and have just released an awesome 8-bit version of the iconic Simpsons intro, filled with winks and closing with a couch gag that's equal parts trippy and awe-inspiring (as is not exactly uncommon in Robertson's work). This thing makes The Simpsons Arcade Game opening look like someone took a yellow dump on a motherboard. Watch it immediately.
