Bryan Singer has found the latest young actor he'll slather in blue body paint. The director last night revealed on Instagram that he's cast The Road's Kodi Smit-McPhee as a young Nightcrawler in the upcoming superhero sequel X-Men: Apocalypse. The teleporting, elf-like, blue-skinned mutant was previously played by Alan Cumming in X2. It's not yet certain whether the azure-skinned Archangel--who typically figures heavily into the Apocalypse story--will appear in the new film, but it is confirmed that Smit-McPhee will be joining a cerulean cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, Nicholas Hoult's Beast, Tobias from Arrested Development, the Blue Man Group, an Avatar, Picasso's Old Guitarist, and Leo's frozen Titanic corpse.
