While Ben Affleck's Batman has been described as an older, "tired and weary and seasoned" take on the character, it seems 2016 will in fact bring us an even stronger cowled reminder of our inexorable march toward death. As revealed over the weekend at the Mad Monster Party convention, next year will also apparently see Adam West return to the role of the Caped Crusader in an animated movie. Aged Robin Burt Ward made the announcement, saying that he and West will both provide voices for what will be a feature-length film set to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the only Batman movie to heavily feature Shark Repellent Bat Spray. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may have a dark, brooding Batman, but this will have the gritty reality of a Dynamic Duo with a cumulative seven wives, you guys.
