Once you've seen the mid-credits sequence at the end of Age of Ultron, feel free to leave the theater and head back to one of your families. Writer-director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige have given their word that there is no "shawarma" moment of the first film waiting at the end of the new Avengers sequel.
"There is nothing at the very end. And that's not a fake-out," Whedon told Entertainment Weekly. "We want people to know so they don't sit there for 10 minutes and then go: 'Son of a bitch! I'll kill them!'"
Feige, however, added, "There will be a tag. That is, there will be a short, epilogue-like scene that pops up shortly after the credits start. But there's not a post-post-credit scene." If you want a scene after the movie, well, that's back to being up to you and drunken belligerence.
