Work has begun on a sequel to The Three Stooges, the film that will be the slap in the face blindsiding us now that our eyes have already been gouged from the original. C3 Entertainment, Grand Peaks Entertainment, and The Exchange have officially announced plans for a follow-up to the not particularly successful 2012 Farrelly Brothers film. It's not clear whether the directors will return, but stars Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Will Sasso are already attached to reprise their respective roles doing impressions of Larry, Moe, and Curly. Newcomer Cameron Fay is handling the script, and it's said "producers are looking to add a major action star to to the cast" to turn the sequel into more of an action-comedy. This one must be based on the classic Stooges short where they approach Dwayne Johnson, find out how much he costs, try Terry Crews, and eventually settle on John Cena.
