Clint Eastwood Making Captain "Sully" Sullenberger Movie

Over six years after Captain "Sully" Sullenberg heroically landed an unpowered plane on the Hudson River, Clint Eastwood is attempting to now land a few Oscar nods on there. THR reports that Eastwood will follow up American Sniper with the story of how the veteran pilot narrowly averted crisis after a series of geese took out his plane's engines. Of course, the entire flight, from takeover to water landing, lasted all of five minutes, so the film will apparently fill out the rest of the time with the broader story of Sullenberger's life. But isn't that just like Eastwood to conveniently let history forget the bird victims of this tale?
