Today in inscrutable remake news, Deadline is reporting that 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith is being made into a competition series somehow. The extremely loose adaptation is being developed by the woefully prolific 3 Ball Entertainment, the production company behind series like The Pickup Artist, Texas Women, My Cat from Hell, and more. Details are pretty scant, but it's said that the show-- which I'm going to wager will not be hosted by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt--will "feature married couples that compete in a high-octane, high-stakes game." The goal? Break Jennifer Aniston's heart.
