Next 'Tron' Movie Deactivated

Like so many sad dads in mid-life crisis, Disney has already given up the cool motorcycles they bought a few years ago in the hopes of reliving the '80s. THR reports that the studio has quietly abandoned plans for a sequel to Tron: Legacy. Original stars Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde were already attached to reprise their roles, and though a shoot was tentatively scheduled for the fall, it's said that Disney never officially gave the green light, and since they now only want to make live-action adaptations of their cartoons, the studio called off production. Worry not, though: Tron: Legacy sequels will at least continue to develop in your head every time you ride an exercise bike to Daft Punk.
