'Minecraft' Movie To Be Directed by Rob McElhenney

It what may be Mac's least badass stunt yet, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob McElhenney has signed on to direct a movie based on the video game Minecraft. Complete details aren't available, but Minecraft developer Mojang have themselves confirmed the news on their site, so it would seem to be official.

McElhenney has previously directed a few episode of It's Always Sunny, the yet to be released TV movie Pariah, and, of course, Lethal Weapon 5 and 6. It's not yet clear if he will write and/or star in Minecraft, but he probably should, because look how nicely that would turn out:
